Glad you have the web site. I got the information to direct the Lake Geauga CISM team to you station for our meeting on 5/8/08. We will have a mock debriefing as part of our training that eveining so if any of your members want to sit in they are welcome.

This is one of the best sites I've ever seen! Very complete, innovative; it has everything a community could ever want or need! A very professional reflection of your fire district!
I lived in Hambden from 1979-1981, and my Dad, Bruce, was a volunteer then. I remember watching everyone responding to the station, then seeing the engines go screaming off to the fire. I remember when the chief's house got hit by lightening, then burned down a few months later. I was one of the kids at the grade school who made carmel apples to buy him a new class A uniform.
As volunteer firefighters, we don't hear it enough, so thank you all for your service and dedication to the people of the community. We have the power to take someone's worst day of their life and make it a little better.
